Elite Business Systems, a Technology Solutions Partner with over three decades of industry experience, is seeking a Service Engineer to join our Document Solutions department in our Hamilton office. This position will serve our clients across the Waikato and the southern Auckland region, with occasional travel to our Tauranga & Auckland offices and clients. Role Overview: As a Service Engineer in our Document Solutions department, you’ll be instrumental in delivering professional, efficient service and assisting with installations of our Toshiba and, on occasion, Kyocera devices. This new role arises from our team’s expansion and the continuous demand for installations, reflecting our growing client base with vast potential. The position presents a dynamic work environment filled with daily learning and problem-solving opportunities. - Installation, servicing, and repair of Toshiba and Kyocera devices, ensuring optimal performance.
- Prompt response to service calls, performing on-site and remote diagnostics, and repairs.
- Conducting routine maintenance and firmware upgrades, ensuring seamless operation for our clients.
- Providing comprehensive training and support to clients, ensuring a great user experience.
- Collaborating closely with the Document Solutions Team to meet and exceed service delivery expectations.
- Regular recording of service activities, ensuring accurate capture of time spent on jobs and parts used.
- Participating in continuous learning and training programs to stay abreast with evolving industry standards and technologies.
- Prioritising first touch resolution to minimise call-backs and repeat issues, ensuring client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Toshiba and Kyocera experience would be a plus.
- Industry or vendor-related certifications would be a plus.
- A valid NZ driver’s license is required.
